        Membership Information
        and Application Process

        Minimum Qualifications:

        • 18 years old
        • High school Diploma or GED
        • Valid Driver's License

        Salary and Benefits:

        • Paid per call (once training and meeting qualifications are met)
        • State tax volunteer incentive program
        • Free training
        • Free physical provided by Darlington County as required

        Work Schedule:

        • Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month
        • Station workdays and fundraisers as scheduled

        Application Process:

          Applicants are to submit an application either to Darlington County Fire District Headquarters or South Darlington Fire Department.  Then the applicant is to attend 2 meetings.  Upon completion of the meeting the department will vote on the applicant.
